Benjamin "Pete" Rich

Ocala - Benjamin “Pete” Rich passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, Tuesday morning, April 2, 2024. He was born on September 10, 1941 in the Panama Canal Zone.
He graduated from Ocala high school in 1959, followed by two years in the Army. Pete moved to South Florida in 1962 where he pursued a career in real estate and banking. In the early 80s, after years of hard work and determination, he became a successful entreprener traveling throughout the world.
Pete truly lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He could connect with anyone and was a wonderful friend to so many. His kindness, sense of humor and generosity will always be remembered.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents Barbara and Benjamin Rich along with brother William (Bill).
He is survived by his two daughters, Staci Roach (Craig), Dianna Falke (Eric) son Alex and brother Greg, along with four grandchildren, Katie, Kyle, Emma and Benjamin.

We always enjoyed our visits with Pete whether it be in person or on the phone. He was a wonderful father to his 3 children and grandfather to his 4 grandchildren. Pete, you had a wonderful life and will be truly missed by many.
