Carlton (CB) Byrum, my brother was one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. I remember him saying he never met a stranger and if you knew CB, you know that was how he lived his life. He was friendly and outgoing. CB embodied the term simple man more than anyone I have ever known. With CB, what you saw was what you got. He was real. He never pretended to be anything. Even though I will miss CB, I know he lived a full life. CB Byrum will always be alive in my heart and I will always love him.
Carlton was a big man with an even bigger heart. He cared deeply about others. He was genuine. He was the real deal, and never once did we ever hear him say an unkind word about anyone. Everyone should take lessons from him. Oh how he will be missed!
Our heartfelt prayers go out to Audrey, Phoebe, and the rest of the family. May God give each of you comfort, strength, peace, and love now, and in the days to come.
