Carmen M. DeFalco

Carmen M. DeFalco was born 1937 in Ossining, N.Y. to Michael and Florence (Planamenta) DeFalco. Carmen was a corporal in the New York National Guard from 1958 until 1962. He worked for Sleepy Hollow (N. Tarrytown) N.Y. police department from 1960 until he retired in 1986 as detective sergeant. After moving to Ocala, Florida in 1987, he worked for the Marion County Sheriff’s Department from 1987 until he retired in 2000 as a major crime’s investigator. After that, he still volunteered as an ICE agent helping to solve cold case crimes. He worked as a private detective with his own agency from 2000 until 2006.

He is survived by his wife Carol, daughters Michelle DeFalco of Ocala, Fl., Donna (Glenn) Kane of Connecticut, Toni (Eddie) Benson of New York, four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Capozzi of Croton, N.Y. and one nephew.
