Cathy Cook Davis went to sip Coca-Colas on the eternal beaches on February 26th, 2025.
Cathy was born on April 18, 1956 to Charles and Doris Cook in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Cathy, affectionately known as either Aunt Porky, Pork Fish, Mimi, or Meems (depending on who you asked) loved life and lived it to the fullest. She learned to Hula in Hawaii, rode the Tail of the Dragon on her Harley, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane, cycled more miles than she could count, and took her kids and grandkids on multiple road trips. She was constantly sewing costumes for her kids and grandkids. She loved to dance in the living room to Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, The Eagles, and Journey (just to name a few). Many a kid have “Cut a rug” in her livingroom and then camped out. She had an open door policy for “strays”.
She leaves behind to cherish those memories her daughters Beth Cercy & Rená (James) Davis. Grandchildren: Troy “Bubba Fish” Tims, Crissa “Sissy”(Joseph) Gibson, Preston “Lil Bubba” Romero, and Isabella “Bell” Romero. Great-Grandchildren Timmy, Colton, Wyatt, and Joseph Jr. Two Honorary Son in Laws for Life: Tim-Tim (Timmy) and Flip (Philip), and many other fans.
She was reunited with her Mom, Dad (Pops), three brothers (Chuck, Hank, & Neil), her beloved Aunt Bobbie, and best friend Sherrie.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Davis family.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
The phrase “never met a stranger” is how I would describe Cathy. Everyone she met was a potential friend. She’ll be sorely missed by many. I am grateful to have known her.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
Cathy and I have a long history together. It didn't take me long to find out what a caring, loving and selfish person she was, always putting others before herself. She was always there with open arms,an open door and a big heart Didn't matter if you needed a shoulder to cry on or a place to rest your head —the word no was not in her vocabulary. She, also, raised 2 amazing daughters. They certainly take after their mother, going out of their way to help others in need. I'll miss our time together sitting on her front porch, her sipping coca cola and me with my cup of coffee reminiscing about the wonderful times spent with family and friends. She will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
