Every moment i spent around charlie was filled with joy and kindness, he always offered me a helping hand no matter what is was. He will be missed very dearly.
Charlie had a love for nature, spending hours birdwatching and fishing, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. His enthusiasm for the open road was reflected in his love for cars; he was not just a car enthusiast but a skilled restorer, always ready to help friends and family with their automotive woes. Whether it was cars or boats, Charlie’s hands brought new life to old treasures, a testament to his craftsmanship.
A proud member of the Detroit Local 636 Pipefitters, his colleagues will remember him not only for his hard work but for the laughter and camaraderie he brought to the job site.
Charlie is survived by his daughters Brigit (Sean), Carlee (Marcos) and his grandson Gavin, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Colleen Carpenter, Mary Pat O’Carolan (Dara), Sean Larkin (Susan), Tim Larkin, and Brother in law Michel Lentz as well as 3 nieces and 5 nephews.
