Charles "Charlie" John Larkin

September 17, 1960 ~ November 12, 2025

Charles John “Charlie” Larkin, born on September 17, 1960, in Trenton, Michigan passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025, at the age of 65 in his home in High Springs, Florida.

Charlie had a love for nature, spending hours birdwatching and fishing, finding peace and joy in the great outdoors. His enthusiasm for the open road was reflected in his love for cars; he was not just a car enthusiast but a skilled restorer, always ready to help friends and family with their automotive woes. Whether it was cars or boats, Charlie’s hands brought new life to old treasures, a testament to his craftsmanship.

A proud member of the Detroit Local 636 Pipefitters, his colleagues will remember him not only for his hard work but for the laughter and camaraderie he brought to the job site.

Charlie is survived by his daughters Brigit (Sean), Carlee (Marcos) and his grandson Gavin, who were the lights of his life. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Colleen Carpenter, Mary Pat O’Carolan (Dara), Sean Larkin (Susan), Tim Larkin, and Brother in law Michel Lentz as well as 3 nieces and 5 nephews.

Charlie was predeceased by his loving sister Maureen Larkin Lentz in 2017 and mother Agnes Jones in 2020. Charlie and Tim provided “around the clock” care for their mother in her final months, showering her with love and dignity.
Rest easy, Charlie. Your legacy of kindness and love will forever be remembered.
