Cheryl Anne Hornsby-Fields (Werner, Greenwell), aged 67, passed away on April 3, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. Born on June 16, 1956, Cheryl dedicated her life to caring for others in her esteemed role as an Occupational Therapist, a career that mirrored her loving, kind, and generous nature.

Cheryl was a proud alumna of the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she honed her skills that would later greatly benefit countless individuals throughout her career. Her compassionate approach and dedication to her profession were evident in every interaction.

Cheryl had an inquisitive mind and enjoyed learning about anything and everything. She was an artist and enjoyed playing the guitar along with various arts and crafts including jewelry making, drawing, painting, & sewing. Her greatest wish was to travel the world to see all the wonders she would learn about.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanna Michalski, son-in-law Jeffery Michalski, granddaughter Alexandra Michalski, and grandson Matrim Michalski. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Sandra Fields.

Cheryl will be fondly remembered for her unwavering kindness and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her legacy will continue through her family and the many lives she touched.
