Christian Michael Kolodziej departed this earth on June 6th, 2023. Christian was born in Holyoke, MA and he peacefully took his final breath at his home in Micanopy, FL.
Chris is a kind and loving soul. He could make you laugh on your darkest days. He is a true free spirit and to know him is to love him. Chris loved music, cooking amazing meals, dancing, expanding his consciousness, and learning new things. His final endeavor was to create an abundant homestead for his family, and we will carry the torch in his honor.
After 11 years of dating, Chris married his soulmate, Tiffany on June 19, 2014. Chris is survived by his sisters, Elissa Kolodziej and Jennifer Goodan, brother Nick Kolodziej, his beautiful niece Siobhan, and his parent, Iris De La Rosa.

All my love. I can't describe the feeling. I can't describe what it feels like to have known such a heart warming being. To have known Christian has been the grandest of blessings. To have shared in life has been one of my fondest experiences. He's on a new journey now, the grandest of all. To walk amongst the gods is no small feet, and I can see Christian there, walking along the stardust sands of the cosmos, taking a deep breath, in awe of it all. One day brother, I'll be there too, and we'll walk together along the shores. Sharing tales of life and death and everything in between. I look forward to seeing you again. All my love. Sincerely, all my love.
Chris, you taught me how to be more carefree and childlike. You taught me how to let go of the things I could not control. You helped teach me to be selfless, and I’m so honored to have been on this adventure with you. I wouldn’t change a thing. I promise to keep an open heart for you, and I’ll love you always. You are my best friend, and I know we’ll be together again.
Chris was an incredible person and we feel so lucky to have been a part of his life. When Tiffany first introduced us to Chris, we had never met anyone with such a bright and positive spirit. His love and companionship with Tiffany was undeniable, and we’re so happy that they were able to live their lives together as soulmates. Even during hard times, Chris always saw the brighter parts of life, humor in the darkest moments, and the best in everyone. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Rest peacefully.
Christian you are the best brother a sister could ask for. We did so much growing up together, we did have a time where we lost touch, but we found each other again. Though I wish we had done it sooner I am just grateful me and my family were able to spend what time we had with you. You were a one of a kind person your precence around people was just so calming that no matter what we had going on in our life you made it better. I will forever keep you in my heart and until we meet again. Love your sister Jennifer
Chris,
You are deeply loved, respected, and cherished. You are with us always. The impact you have had on every human you touched is profound. Knowing that you are watching over us and eternally spreading your beautiful energy brings me peace and hope. I will miss our family dinners, our dance parties, our esoteric conversations, and all the beautiful healing in the physical world, but we exist beyond space and time, and our spirits will forever be connected. Please don’t forget to send reminders that you’re still here from time to time. I’ll be looking for them! I love you to the moon and back!
Love,
Ali

I had the honor of meeting Chris through Tiffany and I instantly adored him. He was funny, warm, genuine and so easy to talk to and such an incredible creative mind.
Chris once left a message on my answering machine in the mid to late 90’s of him playing a drum machine he modified. It was the best answering machine message I ever had the pleasure of receiving. He was a talented, dynamic guy and I think back fondly on the years when we were like brothers, playing music together and often taking long walks around the student ghetto of Gainesville, walking and talking late into the night. My sincere condolences to Tiffany, his family, and friends.
Chris, I remember the day we met like it was moments ago. I even said to you, “I think you were my brother in a past life”. It was a comfort and an ease I felt instantly with you and yet I’m sure most people felt that in your presence as well.
I will continue to cherish and honor your beautiful soul. The way you approached life, the honoring of the simplicities of the human experience and your interest in exploring a deeper understanding of most things was contagious. Your beautiful love and relationship with Tiffany will continue to be held in the highest regard.
Chris, you are missed and loved my soul brother.
