On April 10, 2025 Christopher William Pedrick was found to have ended his life. He was 31 years old. Born to Marjorie Bell Hoover Pedrick (Deceased: 1957-2024) and Andrew McTigue Pedrick in Norwalk, Connecticut on May 27, 1993. The family is devastated by this loss and misses him dearly.
Christopher lived his first six years in Norwalk, CT, attending Montessori school and Jefferson Elementary School. In 1999 his family moved to Gainesville, Florida. There, Chris attended Lawton Chiles Elementary School, Kanapaha Middle School, and Buchholz High School. He graduated from Buchholz High School and was dual enrolled in Santa Fe College his senior year. He went on to have a career in food services and continued studies in computer science.
Christopher was the oldest of four siblings. He was intelligent, creative, kind, funny, and thoughtful. He was a musician, a warrior, and much more. He often kept to himself, but to those who knew him, he was a caring man who valued peace. As a child and young man, he was a Boy Scout who greatly enjoyed camping with his troupe and family as well as outdoor treks such as Outward Bound. Christopher held many passions from cooking, to reading, video games, history, science, fencing, martial arts, and more. He was a strong athlete and competed in fencing tournaments. He continued this love of swordsmanship into adulthood and trained long sword combat. Christopher found the guitar as a way of expression and played well throughout his life. He also sang in the choir and played handbells at First Presbyterian Church for many years. He had a tender soul and loved nature and animals. He grew up with pets and was especially close to family cats Chance and Paris and his own cat Joyce.
Christopher is survived by his father Andrew McTigue Pedrick and his siblings, Katherine Elizabeth Pedrick, Jonathan Mitchell Pedrick and Julia Marie Pedrick. Christopher’s family and friends mourn his loss deeply and will love him forever.

I worked with his mother, I know they shared a special bond and her mother's love was what sustained him. So sorry he has left this earth, but happy to know he will be with her again in heaven. I wish your family peace.
I miss you deeply and beyond all words.
I love you forever.
