David Leslie Harper

David Leslie Harper, beloved father and grandfather passed away on September 29, 2021 after a long illness. He was 72.

He survived by his Sisters Pat and Wendy, his Brothers, Doug, Mike and John. He leaves behind his son, David and daughter- in- law Charmaine, their sons, Julian, Damien and Mason. He also leaves behind a daughter, Shalon Harris.

David was an avid outdoorsman and before he became ill, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. David was a retired US Postal Service Clerk. David served honorably with distinction in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

A quote he was fond of in his younger days from one of his favorite books, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach was:

“We choose our next world through what we learn in this one. Learn nothing, and the next world is the same as this one, all the same limitations and lead weights to overcome.”
