It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Campana, who died peacefully in his sleep on April 23, 2025, just days before his 72nd birthday. Dennis was born in Troy, NY on April 26, 1953 to parents, Arthur and Caroline Campana. He grew up in the Binghamton, NY area and attended Binghamton North High.
In his early years, Dennis worked as a journeyman plumber in Florida before relocating to Maine, where he built a successful business installing windows and siding. He was known for his craftsmanship and unwavering work ethic, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working with him. Dennis also spent countless hours renovating his own home in Lisbon, Maine, taking immense pride in transforming it with his own hands. Whether it was a simple repair or a large renovation project, Dennis loved turning dreams into reality.
Outside of work, Dennis enjoyed the company of his many friends and camping, spending many summers enjoying the beauty of nature. His love for his animals was also well known, and he is now reunited with his beloved dogs, Pumpkin and Dolce.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Whitney Ratliff, and her husband, Jeffery; his siblings, Tony Campana and wife, Ruth, Mary Ann Rason and partner, Joe Tremain, and Lori Campana; as well as many nieces and nephews and countless close friends who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved son, Casey Campana, whose memory was always close to his heart.
Dennis will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his unshakable devotion to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished.
In lieu of a service, the family invites donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause Dennis supported throughout his life.

Dennis was such a nice guy. He rented a room from me. He kept to himself. He always went to the senior center here Monday through Friday. He made a lot of friends. I just spoke to him a couple weeks before he passed and he told me his health wasn’t so good. I wish there would of been a service for him.I would’ve attended.RIP Dennis.🙏😇
