Diana Jean Weaver, born Diana Jean Irving on December 6, 1944 passed away on December 26, 2022. She was 78 years old. Diana was the daughter of the late Raymond George Irving and Ruth Naomi Irving of Ashland, Ohio.


  Diana was survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Paul Richard Weaver of Ft. White, Florida; step-son, Gary Eugene Moore of Ft. White, Florida (sons: Ryan and Adam); son, Kelly Brian Weaver of Gainesville, Florida (daughters: Courtney and Brenda); and daughter, Amy Lynae Kenner of High Springs, Florida (husband: Michael, son: Zachary), and several great-grandchildren. Diana is also survived by her sister, Shirley Riling, and brothers, James Irving and Raymond Irving, all of Ashland, Ohio.


  Diana graduated from Ashland High School in Ashland, Ohio in 1962. She continued her education in business school in Mansfield, Ohio. She married Paul in 1964 and in 1973 they relocated to Florida. She worked many years as a bookkeeper for several different types of industries. Her main focus was handling the books and payroll for the companies that she worked for. She went back to college and earned her associates degree in accounting in 1996 from Santa Fe Community College. Diana retired from Environmental Consulting and Technology, Inc. in Gainesville, Florida in 2013 from the accounting department.

 

  Diana began attending the First Presbyterian Church of High Springs in 1995 and enjoyed singing in the choir for many of those years. For several years she would play Mrs. Claus to her Santa Claus (Paul) at the annual Christmas dinner. Other than her family, for all of her adult life, Diana’s largest enjoyment was working on her family genealogy. Diana was able to track her family back several generations and found many of her families who had immigrated to America. Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing board games, card games and putting together puzzles. She enjoyed going to the beach, visiting the
mountains, and travelling to and attending car shows.

She will be greatly missed.


A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of High Springs please contact the church or Family for date and time.
