Diane App

Gainesville — Diane Conoryea App, 88, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Friday, November 10,

2023. She was the wife of the late Dr. James L. App whom she met on a blind date.

Diane was born October 29, 1935 in St. Paul, MN, to Gordon Conoryea and Helen Lemmer Conoryea. She was a graduate of The University of Minnesota and The University of Northern Colorado. Diane worked as a public school teacher in Janesville, WI, and in St. Paul, MN, and in Gainesville, FL. She taught for over 40 years and touched the lives of many students. Diane also worked part time for Sears. She enjoyed her "showplace" yard, spending time with family and traveling to Minnesota.

Survivors include her son, Tim App (Bradenton, FL) and her daughters Lisa App (St. Paul, MN) and Polly App (Gainesville, FL); her beloved sister, Carol Conoryea Berens (Charlie) of St.

Paul MN; four grandchildren, Bryan App (Pleasant View, TN), Daniel App (Michaela Riling) of St. Paul, MN, Marshall App Bonnette (St. Paul, MN), Lindsay Kaufman (Gainesville, FL); five great-grandchildren, Riley App, Avery App, August App, Milo App and Ziva App: brothers-in-law Gene App and Robert App (Serene) and a number of nieces and nephews, Mark, Steve, Ann, Mary, Scott, Dale, Tonya and Michelle.

In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her son, Peter App.
