Diane M. Caton Russell was born on August 3, 1977 in New Bedford Massachusetts. She passed from this life on January 2, 2024 after a tragic accident. Diane was only 46 years of age.
Diane is survived by her loving husband Shawn Russell, her daughter September-Anne and her son Robert, and far too many loyal and loving family members and dear friends to list. Diane was predeceased by her self professed "ride or die" best friend Dorchester the Boxer. Shawn and Diane originally met as children in Brockton Massachusetts, and after dating briefly as young adults thier lives took them in separate directions for a time. Several years later when they reconnected they realized they had both found their soulmate, and they chose each other as partners for life.
Diane graduated Holbrook High School and was currently working towards her degree. Diane worked as a home health care office manager and had just begun a new job that she enjoyed thoroughly. Being a breast cancer survivor Diane was full of life and enjoyed living it with those she loved most. In her free time Diane enjoyed spending time with family, trips to Disney, jet skiing, and the beach bum life. One of her singular joys every year was vacationing to Gatlinburg Tennessee with the love of her life.
The family asks for privacy during this difficult time.

Diane, miles and time separated us, but I have so many memories when we worked at Wendy's hanging out at our apartments, getting my very first tattoo in my living room, going through medical assistance and phlebotomy school together, late nights studying with wine, You were an amazing friend, and I regret not calling you more often. Hope I see you again on the other side my friend. Rest easy.
Love you. Maureen (Moe)
