You were a wonderful sister. I love you and will miss playing cards and giggles with you. You deserve the most peaceful rest in heaven with Bobby. You were, and always will be, Bobby's Girl.
I meet Diane through her sister Mary over the years we all became family. We had Thanksgiving and Christmases together. See was always kind and caring to me, I will miss her. She will be in my prayers
I met Diane and Bob in 2001 when my husband and I were looking to purchase a condo in Boynton Beach, FL. We lived in Georgia and were still working full time, so we only visited the condo for a few weeks each year. We became good friends and would always make time to visit with them, even when they moved to The Villages. I will miss Diane's warm smile and wonderful sense of humor. Rest in peace Diane, and say hi to Bob for me. Love you!
Such a good friend; my wife Debbie and I met Diane and Bob 25 years ago, our connection was immediate. We always laughed, conversation was easy and fun. She was very connected to her Maryland roots and to her sister Mary. She was so welcoming, we stayed with them and later Diane quite often in our travels between Boynton Beach and Peachtree City, GA.
In 2018, we spent a week with her in preparation of and riding out Hurricane Irma. We cooked gourmet meals and played games every day. She will be missed and in our hearts always.
Where to start?? Diane and my wife Carol, first met in the early 70’s working for the Md. Dept. of Education in the Baltimore area and formed a lifelong friendship. That friendship grew to include Bob and myself. Over the 50 years or so, together the 4 of us shared many great memories. We traveled together, went on cruises together and spent many, many summer afternoons eating steamed crabs, soft crabs, oysters, clams and whatever tempted our taste buds at the Crab Claw restaurant in St. Michaels, Md. We were fortunate to spend an evening at a concert featuring Willy Nelson compliments of a radio contest that Bob had won. Up close center seats and a limo ride to and from the concert. It was a night to remember for the 4 of us. Another particular time I remember well was a trip to Florida where the four of us visited Busch Gardens for an afternoon. Carol and Bob were the more adventurous of the 4 of us and they rode the big roller coaster while Diane and I watched from a comfortable seated spot with a chilled beverage to accompany us. I could go on for a long time about the times we all spent together and they will forever live in my heart. May you find peace in heaven Diane, and say hello to Bob and my beloved wife Carol for me.
