Elizabeth Linda Meikle

It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Linda Meikle (Liz) , who departed this life on March 2nd, 2026 at the age of 43 in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Elizabeth was born on June 6th, 1982 in Jacksonville Florida to Vickie Gale Hare and Leroy James Harris Sr. From an early age, she was known for her kindness, humor, strength and compassion. Throughout life, Elizabeth touched the lives of many with a warm heart and generous spirit.

Elizabeth especially loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She loved listening to music and podcasts. She enjoyed reading. Her favorite animal was a dolphin. 

She was selfless and always put others needs before her own and above all loved making people happy. 

Elizabeth is survived by her kids William Wright (Lucy Wright), Sean Stowe Laney (Deja Stowe Laney), Shane Laney (Jennifer Peacock), Sierra Adams (Haylnn Adams). Her husband Brandon Meikle. Her mother Vickie Hare (Bruce Mercer). Her siblings Veniece Harris aka Uncle Niecey. Her grandchild Evan Stowe Laney. Her nephews Zayvon Muff, Cameron Sanchez, Zachary Sanchez, Alexander Sanchez and Benjamin Sanchez. Her uncle Dan Hare (Margie Hare). Her mother and father in law Laurie Meikle and Richard Meikle. Her sister in law Jessica Sanchez (Eddie Sanchez). As well as many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Leroy James Harris Sr, her stepdad Emmett Woodberry and her grandson Jonathan Wright. 

Her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Though gone from this world, Elizabeth will never be forgotten.
