Ellie Katherine Keck was born on May 5th, 1997 to Julie Spann in Indianapolis, IN. Coming into a family with two older sisters, she made her presence known by frequently performing at the living room fireplace equipped with a feather boa and tiara. She was also a thrill seeker, always on the lookout for a new adventure. As she grew up, she loved meeting new people and traveling. Perhaps this is where her dream to be a truck driver and see the country developed. Those close to her can attest that a good day for Ellie involved spending time with loved ones, always-available ramen noodles, and perfectly straightened hair.
Ellie was tragically killed in a car accident on July 14th, 2018 in Melrose, FL. She was 21 years old. She leaves behind her mother, Julie, stepfather Mike, grandmother Judy, sisters Laura and Megan, and nephews Caleb, Cole, and Ezra and nieces Eliaya and Elora.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Keck Family.

So, so sorry for the family. I have been searching for her forever. She is my cousin and I never got to meet her 🙁 If anyone is willing to reach out to me with pictures or what happened I would love it, if not it’s understood. My Condolences to all of you.
Miss you.
I knew Ellie in a very difficult time for both of us. Her ability to love was only rivaled by her ability to feel. She taught me many things, from accepting who I am, to learning to show love, and everything in between. I’m sorry I couldn’t help you Ellie. I’m sorry I couldn’t take the pain away. Ms. Spann, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine what these past months have felt like. Ellie, I know you’re happy in Heaven. Let us never stop loving, let us never stop listening. Always care for those who need love, and try to always be a friend. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more of a help in this life. Love always, Jarrod Clarizio.
