Eloina Ortiz Cuevas
February 26, 1949 ~ January 3, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Eloina Ortiz Cuevas (LOA), who left us on January 3rd 2025 at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family.
Loa was born in Angles Utuado, Puerto Rico and moved to New Jersey at a young age where she eventually had a family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there when needed the most, offering support, wisdom and love in abundance. Loa was full of love, compassion and resilience. She touched the lives of all who knew her. Her radiant spirit will surely be missed.
Loa is survived by her 3 children Kenneth, Donny, and Diana in addition to her grandchildren Chazz, Naomi, Niles, Leana Sophie, Jonathan, and Faith. Her siblings Emma, Grostalin, Frankie and Brunilda.
She is gone but not forgotten.

Loa you will be forever loved and missed! I am glad we started conversating more on a regular basis sharing some fun moments since my cancer diagnosis going back to February 2019. I will forever be grateful for your efforts to assist me after my father your brother passed away. God be with you queen I'm happy you are now with grandma, my father, and Zarra.

Mama Ortiz will be truly missed and never forgotten in my heart. Working as a CNA can be hard but when you meet Angels like Mama Ortiz it makes every moment so worth it. She put a smile on my face and in my heart every time I saw her. I love her and will never forget her. Diana, Naomi and baby girl, I love you too. My condolences go out to the entire family and I will always be here if you need me.

Loa was an amazing person. I met her thru Jocelyn. LOA was always messaging me when I moved to Ohio. She knew I missed my family and welll Perth Amboy. She always prayed for me when she knew I got sick and was in and out of hospital. I always looked forward to her messages. She message me daily. Always giving me blessings and prayer. She had a big heart and loved everyone. She will be truly missed. I give me condolences to Diana and family. My prayers. God bless DEP Loa.
