  1. Fran was a gifted dog handler and agility teacher. I loved her sense of humor. She always took the dog’s side when mistakes were made in agility. I will miss her so much and can still hear her voice giving instructions. Love you Fran!  I know you are surrounded by your favourite animals.

  2. Fran and I met at Queensborough Community College in 1977.  Fran was looked upon by her students and fellow colleagues as one of the best Professors in Health and Physical Education courses.  Fran’s classes were always filled.   Also, Fran was instrumental in the development and implementation of an Academic Advisement Program as she worked in the office of Academic Affairs.   Fran and I met for dinner on a weekly basis for many years.  We had developed a personal friendship outside of the college.  Fran was a very dear friend who I will miss.    I not only have high regard for Fran but also for her beloved partner Pat Ferguson. Manny Stein

  3. Fran will be missed so much by all her agility students. She was very successful in many dog and horse sports. I love going in the house and looking at all the pictures on the walls of all of her accomplishments. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her.

  4. What a special person.  She will be missed by many.  I always enjoyed visiting with her and Pat at agility trials and classes.  My deepest condolences to Pat and the rest of her family. Pam McCaleb

  5. My husband and I were privileged to have known Fran and Pat. They were our neighbors in the country in Appomattox, VA and we sorely missed them when they moved to sunny Florida. Fran had a strong love for all animals and did healing work with our horses and dogs. She loved the agility process and found new and creative ways to have fun with their ever growing family of awesome dogs. She was a faithful friend, generous neighbor and I feel grateful to have known her. Love and Light to you, Fran.

  6. Always loved to visit her house to see her horses and her 5 Keeshonds and watch them perform in the agility ring. Fran you will be missed

  7. Pat Was so sorry to learn of Fran’s death. Franklin and I want you to know that we are thinking of you. Deb and Franklin
