FRANCES J. FULLER

Frances (Larson) Fuller passed away November 15, 2023 at Plantation Oaks Assisted Living Facility in High Springs, Florida, at the age of 88. She spent her childhood in Bridgeport, CT, until she moved to North Syracuse, NY, for high school. Later she lived in San Diego, Denver, Spencerport, NY, and The Villages, FL, before moving to Alachua, FL with her daughter.

She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Brockport, NY, where she was the church secretary for 34 years.

Music and theater were important in her life. She frequently attended live concert performances and plays. She was a guitarist and taught many young students. She even once played for President Ford with a group of friends, known as The Mellotones. They performed a song they wrote titled, “I believe in Gerry, I believe in Ford” to the tune of “I believe in music”. He loved it!

She was active in PEO chapters in the Brockport area and in The Villages and held many offices in those years.

Later in life, she became a magician and performed for local groups. During this time, she enjoyed attending performances of many famous magicians. Fran embraced new experiences and loved to travel, particularly with the Road Scholars (formerly Elder Hostel). In later years, she traveled internationally with her family. She enjoyed playing cards while at The Villages and with the Woman’s Club members in High Springs.

Fran is survived by daughter Pam Fuller of High Springs, Florida; son Dave Fuller, and granddaughter Britany Fuller of Nashua, Montana; sister Linda Gross of Winter Park, Florida, brother Wayne (Nora) Larson of Williamstown, New York, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved cats, Missy and Sherlock. Preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Karin Larson and former husband Donald Fuller.
