Gary Loren Brungardt

November 10, 1972 ~ December 9, 2019

Gary Loren Brungardt, age 47, of Fort White, Florida passed away on December 9,2019.

Loren was born in Ocala, Florida November 10th, 1972 to Gary and Donna Brungardt and grew up in the Williston and Dunnellon, FL areas.

He dedicated his life to his God, Jehovah, and got baptized December 16, 1989 at the Plant City Assembly Hall when he was 17 years old.

In 2000 he was hired on by Bell South (and later AT&T) as a facility technician/cable splicer in Lake City, Florida. He loved his work very much and was saddened when he had to stop working in 2011 due to his health.

When he moved to Lake City to take the job with the telephone company he met Cherie in the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the Kingdom Hall and they were married July 20, 2002. They had 17 happy years together the highlight of which was the year they regular pioneered and got the wonderful privilege of attending Pioneer Service School together in August, 2017.

Anybody who knew him knew that Loren was a lover of life and always had a big smile on his face. He often zealously spoke about Jehovah even when he was ill and in the hospital. He wanted everyone to know about our awesome creator and the many wonderful promises he’s given his faithful servants for the future. Quite often in prayer he would express his desire to serve Jehovah in perfection in the future paradise and he longed to see the day when Jehovah’s name will be sanctified.

Loren is survived by his wife, Cherie Brungardt, his father, Gary Brungardt, his sister, Colleen and her husband, Nathan Garretson and his nephew, Kyle Garretson. His father and mother-in-law, Rodney and Janet Sanko and his many Sanko brother-in-laws and their wives: Dell and Heather, Cory and Erin, Jay and Karman, Garret and Melissa and Brett. And many more nieces and nephews in the Sanko family: Trenton and his wife, Serena, Kelsey and Joel, and Vincent, Leila, and Jaxton and one great niece, Evelyn. He was predeceased in death by his beloved mother, Donna Brungardt.

At which time he drew much comfort from his favorite scripture, Luke 20:37&38:

“But that the dead are raised up, even Moses made known in the account about the thornbush, when he calls Jehovah ‘the God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob.’ He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him.

  2. My Dearest Cherie, I love you like a sister and I am so sorry that such a precious man like those listed in the Watchtower study for this week has passed away and left this world, even if for a short time. It will be hard without someone so special in your life anymore. It is so beautiful the promises that Jehovah has given us, mainly that death will be done away with and Loren will be back on the earth soon with you and serving Jehovah again. Although they are all living to him. Please don't ever forget how much you are loved, especially when you're feeling down and alone. I love you so much buddy! And Loren will be greatly missed! You will always be in my thoughts and prayers, forever. I look forward to the day when we will be crying with tears of joy, having resurrection parties instead of funerals. Can you imagine how wonderful that will be? I want to see the joy on you and Loren's face when you see each other again and take in a long warm embrace.

    With deepest love and sympathy,

    Your friend and sister,

    Tara Schade (Troy)

  3. Dearest Cherie,
My heart broke at the news of Loren. Only once in awhile do you meet someone that is a genuinely kind and heartfelt person without reason(agenda). Always smiling and never an unkind word leaving their lips. He was that person. Such a beautiful brother inside and out. What a great joy it will be to see him again and all the tears we shed now will be duplicated but as tears of great joy and happiness. What grand resurrection parties we will all have then! ❤

❤Never forget how many of us love and adore you.❤ Especially, when you're feeling sad and low. We are here for you! I love you girlie so much!! Big HUGE hugs!

    All my Love,
    Rhonda🐶
