I spent time with Gene and his brother David on their
Father’s farm; camping, hunting and telling tall tales. My most significant “grounding” was for drag racing his 1954 ford against my dad’s 1955 ford pickup. Gene was an interesting quiet man who impressed me all my life. Rest in Peace ole Friend!
Gene was a kind gentle man, too know him was an honor and a blessing.
