George Edward Carroll, 71
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Carroll, age 71 of Ocala, Florida on March 24, 2025. George was born on January 11. 1954 to Jack and Wanda Carroll. He grew up the middle of 5 kids, served three years in the Air Force and then spent many successful years in sales. He was a loving father and grandfather to his daughter Lauren, son in law Matthew and their children Elijah, Sarah and Hannah. George loved sports and was an avid golfer. His outgoing personality and generosity made him quick to make friends. He is survived by his daughter, son in law and three grandchildren. A memorial service for April 12, 2025, please contact the family for details. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either of George’s favorite charities: Stand Up to Cancer or Make-A-Wish Foundation.
