Gerald Ray Oakley, fondly known as Jerry, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 69 in Jacksonville. FL.

Born on August 27, 1956, in Laramie, WY, Jerry lived a life filled with adventure and love. He proudly served in the Navy from October 1974 to October 1977, before embarking on a successful career as a project manager in the commercial construction industry.

Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping and hunting. He cherished weekends spent working on his vintage Jeep and tinkering away in his Man Cave Garage, where he could immerse himself in projects that brought him happiness. He loved entertaining his family and friends in his Man Cave.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah, daughters, Danielle Murray and Desiree Oakley; sister Cindy Kuhn; brother John Oakley; sister-in-law Rebecca Bieker; brother-in-law Gregory Stachacz, granddaughter Brooklyn Dolezal; and grandson Jason Jr. Dolezal, and many other close family members.

Gerald was preceded in death by: John Fredrick Oakley; Father, Wilma Oakley: Mother, David Oakley: Brother.
