James Francis Kearney. 55 years old, of Jacksonville, Fl, passed away on February 26, 2026 after a long, brave fight with cancer.
Born on November 23, 1970 in Newark, NJ. He lived life to the fullest, making every day a new adventure. He had a passion for wrestling and hockey and participated in both during high school. At 18 years of age, he enlisted in the US Army and served proudly for 16 years.
James was known for his love of the Steelers and his obsession with Warhammer 40k. His love for his family and friends was unconditional.
He is survived by wife, Lori Pitkat, son, James P. Kearney, daughter, Priscilla J. Kearney, father James V. Kearney along with a brother and sister. He is also survived by many military brothers and sisters in arms. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Verace.
He touched so many lives and will be truly missed. He will be forever in our hearts.
