Joelene Rinker Rhome passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at UF Shands in Gainsville, FL surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. 
Born on July 12, 1945, Joelene was raised in Richland, Washington by her devoted parents Joel & Florence (Harvey) Rinker, whose guidance and affection shaped the woman she became.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Rhome, her parents Joel & Florence Rinker, her grand daughters Destiny & April, & her beloved dog Casper.
Joelene is lovingly remembered by her Life partner Linda Haylett, daughters, Gina (& Tom) Campbell, & Florence (Gidget) Rhome (& Elizabeth), son, Joel (& Jessica) Rhome, stepson, Anthony Schilling, grandchildren, Timothy (& Brooke) Chisholm & Danielle Rhome, great grandchildren, Finnagan, Nora, & Indie, step grandchild, Ashley Parment, step great grandchild, Kinsley Parment, and her cherished friend Melanie Rose.
Joelene found happiness in simple pleasures. She enjoyed feeding & watching the birds on her property, shopping, traveling, card games, and antique collecting.
As an incredibly dedicated Florida State University fan, she never missed a chance to cheer & root on her team. She also loved her coffee, dining out w friends, lemon meringue pie, & True Crime programs, cooking, & tv game shows.
To her family & friends she was known as “Jo” a confidant whom was always there to listen when needed.  Joelene will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
