Joseph was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended Jacksonville Country Day and Allen Nease High School.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed offshore and inshore fishing with his friends. Joseph was loving, generous, outgoing and a hard worker. He was charming and charismatic. Joe was an unconquerable force who touched the hearts and lives of everyone around him. He had a great sense of humor and made his friends laugh. His daughter became the most precious thing in his life.
His life ended too soon and he will be greatly missed by all of us.
He is predeceased by his mother, Nancy Arowood Haynes.
He is survived by his daughter, Stella, sister Katy, brothers James and Justin, and his father, JC (Tim).
Tell those close to you that you love them today, right now. Your life can change in a flash and you may regret not having said such a simple thing. Tomorrow you might not have anything you have today. Be grateful, appreciate what you have, no matter how small.
Be kind to others, because at any given moment you have no idea what personal tragedy they may be going through. Your politeness may make the difference in helping them cope.
Most of all, take time to love. Love is the greater good!

May Joseph rest in peace and may those who love him find peace in knowing that he is always with them. May his daughter grow up knowing him through the love of his friends and family talking about his love for life. A terrible loss.
I love you brother
Joseph reminds me of his dad and I can only imagine how much he will be missed. Having been friends with his dad allows me to know what a kind heart he must have had. He, as his family will be in my thoughts. Condolences to the family. J.Kenning.
Condolences to all
It's crazy how the good ones go
but rest assured the good Lord knows
Sometimes the greater plan Is hard to understand
If we believe in God's presence
One day it will all make sense
Until we meet again
I'll see you in the end
– Love you Joe!
Beloved Friend Who Became My Brother of Nearly 40 years,
– Nathaniel Reid Six –
My best friend of 17 years. We randomly met when I was 19, didn't like him at first, but then he ended up being the guy on the couch for over a decade. He saved me from destroying myself, was my go to guy, and we shared innumerable conversations about life, love, religion, survival, and death. We hadn't talked in 3 years but I know I have another guardian angel now. He knows how much I miss him.
