Josep,h F Tuso 72, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle against cancer early Tuesday morning, December 14th. Joe was born and raised in Vineland, and was a longtime resident of Newfield and then Glassboro New Jersey prior to moving to Florida. In Florida he lived in Stuart then Palm Beach County prior to moving to Ocala. He was the son of the late Rose (Viola) & Joseph N Tuso, and was predeceased by his younger brother Anthony "Toby" Tuso and his precious granddaughter Maria Tuso.
Before retiring, Joe worked at Two Guys Department Store in Vineland, and then owned and operated the Newfield News Agency. Joe went on to work for many years in the food distribution Industry and U.P.S.. Joe also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was a parishioner of the Queen of Peace Church in Ocala. He was known by this family and friends as someone who loved his family deeply. He always had a smile, he loved golf and loved the many dogs that were part of his family especially Becca. He was loved and admired by many and will be greatly missed.
Joe is survived by his beloved partner of many years, Elaine Richards, his son Joe, his daughter Lori and her husband Shawn, three beautiful granddaughters Taylor, Julianne and Sloan and Elaine's wonderful children Felicia, Blake, Veronica, son in law Deano and grandson Wolfgang. Joe is also survived by his two dear sisters Donna Cappola and Chrissy Tuso Emens, their husbands Michael Coppola, and Jerry Emens and many nieces and nephews.
