Judith Ann Avery (Funk) (Juju), age 66, of Ocala, FL was called home to Our Lord on June 7, 2025 to join her mother, Gloria Campala, her father, Elwood Funk Sr., and her brothers Tracey B. Funk and James P. Funk
Until we meet again, she remains very loved and will be greatly missed by her loving sweetheart, Steve Batten, her son, Marco Lello, her brothers Douglas Funk (Linda), Barry Funk (Kelly), Terry Funk (Kathy), and her sisters Kathy Barker, Susan Lucchesi, and Bonnie Barton (Art Wood), loving brother-in-law James Lello, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

My mother told me “She loves me more than I’ll ever know”. I find or read something each day that does prove her love to me is even stronger than I thought the day before. I’m astonished and honored that I was lucky enough to have her as my mother . If everyone had a mother only half as good as my mom was . The world would be a completely unrecognizable utopia. I love you mom. Thanks for picking all the flowers for me on our walks even though they were cactus,eating green beans fresh from the garden. It’s the small things we take for granted that we wish we could experience again but try to focus on the feeling of joy you had when you experienced them.focus on the love and never forget what that felt like. May god bless whoever may read this.
I had the pleasure of calling Judy my family for the past 23 years. She had such a big heart & kind soul, I will miss her dearly. I’m blessed to have been with her when she was given her wings and may she rest in peace until we meet again.
