Judy Ann Taylor

March 21, 1950 ~ September 3, 2025

Written by: Samuel C. Beamer, loving brother.

Beloved Judy Ann Taylor (nee Beamer, nee Navarro) departed this earth on September 3, 2025 to join her parents, a brother, Ellis Archer Cook Beamer, Jr., a sister, Sylvia Claire Mitchum (nee Beamer) and former husband Joseph R. Navarro in Eternal Paradise.

Judy began a humble beginning as the fifth of six children born to her father, Ellis Archer Cook Beamer, Sr., and her mother, Lora Ola Beamer (nee Nettles). The family had moved from a farm west of Martin, Florida to a home on Florida Highway 318 northwest of Reddick, Florida not long before Judy was born. Judy is survived by a brother, Samuel C. Beamer, and sisters Cora Sue Jackson (nee Beamer, nee Alford) and Helen Diane Thompson (nee Beamer, nee Hanson).

Judy's father was of modest means and worked both as a farmer and a carpenter. Judy worked on the family farm as she was growing up and learned much about carpentry from her father. Judy learned to be a chef quality cook from her mother. Her "pot luck" dishes taken to Oakcrest Baptist Church always were among the first to be eaten.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Valadez (nee Navarro, nee Harnage), husband Kent G. Taylor, son in law Victor Valadez, grandsons Chance Harnage, Jayce Valadez, Jett Valadez, and Gage Valadez.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Taylor family.

  1. Sad to hear, she was such a sweet lady & valued member of our former work family at GAI. Comforting to know she’s in the company of her Lord & Savior!
Peace & Prayers for Kent, Jennifer & her family.

  2. I am so blessed to have had Judy as my Mother-in-law for so many years. She did more for Jennifer, Chance, and myself than most will ever know. All the family get-togethers and school functions are etched upon my mind. Rest in peace.

  3. So sorry to hear of your loss. May God’s loving comfort that He has promised to all that mourn be special during this difficult time. Continue to cherish your wonderful memories. ❤️🙏💜

  4. My awesome wife! I will always remember and love her. I will always be thankful to God for allowing me to share an my life with Judy! May she rest well in the loving hands of Jesus her Savior!

  5. Aunt Judy you had a smile that would light up a room.  Your laughter brought joy, your words brought comfort, and your love brought peace.  Every moment spent with you was a blessing. Your memory will forever shine bright. I am blessed that I was able to spend some time with you earlier this year.  Thank you, God, for blessing us with her presence, love, and wisdom.

  6. Judy was a dear friend who sang with me for many years in the Oakcrest Baptist Church choir. Her beautiful voice was a great addition. She also sang next to me in the singing/touring group RSVP from Oakcrest for several years. We sang locally and throughout the southeastern US proclaiming the Word in song. We had so much fun and those fond memories will never be forgotten.  Rest in peace, my sweet friend, you will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.

  7. The love of my life! An awesome woman and caring family member. Beautiful in spirit and in flesh. A strong woman of faith and integrity always willing to help whatever the need. A very strong Christian woman who loved Jesus and lived a life that loved and honored Him. A life partner that was way beyond what I deserved. Thank you Lord for allowing me to have the honor of being her husband for many awesome years! I will always remember and love ❤️ her and thank God for the time we had together. Rest well with Jesus my loving wife. Your loving husband, Kent

  8. Judy was a dear friend and loved her Lord with all her heart. She was a faithful member of Oakcrest Baptist Church and served the church in many capacities including the choir, many committees and my favorite, Operation Christmas Child. She also served on our Area Team which is the Marion/Citrus 'Son' Country Team reaching all over the two counties. She and I visited many churches together as members of the Church Relations Team sharing with them exactly what OCC is all about and encouraging them to get involved in filling shoeboxes. Many, actually I would say MOST, of them did. Judy was a great partner in this endeavor. I missed her so very much when she became ill and was no longer able to make these visits with me. I will miss my friend Judy until I see again one sweet day but I do have that Eternal hope.

  9. Thank you, Sam for writing this beautiful remembrance of our sweet Judy. And thank you Jennifer for bringing your mother home. Mac and I will treasure the wonderful memories and examples of kindness she showed us. Her welcoming home, meals and conversations will be with us always. Our prayers and love are with the family.
