  4. Sending love your way, Wendy. I am so sorry for the pain you are experiencing with Keith’s passing. While we did not get to spend a lot of time together I do have several memories of good times shared. We know there were lots of angels welcoming him. We love you!

  5. My sweet Keith passed away after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. His physical presence may be gone, but he will be walking beside me as I continue on.

Keith was my friend, my love, and my foundation for over half my life. I could not have had a more compassionate and loving companion. When I was happy, he rejoiced with me. When I was sad, he comforted me. When I needed help, he was always there. He was a commanding, yet gentle presence. My giant teddy bear with a core of steel.

Keith truly believed in living his life to help others. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He was inspired to change careers to become a nurse after helping me care for my mother. He loved both helping his patients and families, and training new nurses. When we were scuba diving, he would always watch over the new divers to keep them safe.

Keith loved to travel and meet people from all over the world. We cruised and dove together, and everyone remembered "Mr. Keese" from trip to trip. He liked nothing better than to just hang out with friends, both new and old.

Keith had a silly sense of humor, and was a practical joker. He told corny jokes, outrageous stories, and was the master of planting rubber dog poop.

I am heartbroken that he is no longer with me, but am comforted that he is no longer in pain, and is at peace at last.

I will love you forever sweetie.

    Your loving wife, Wendy

  6. Keith lived well and was well loved. His loss will be deeply felt by those that knew him.

"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."

  7. Keith was a very dear friend. He taught me much about being an aircraft electrician while working at Grumman St Augustine. We fished and shrimped many times after work. The "Mountain Man" helped me build my own home, asking nothing in return. I will miss you Brother…

  8. We met in 1981 and became great friends. We worked together, drank together, and shared many great times together. Rest in peace, my friend.

  9. I met you both as we shared our love for the Underwater world, & laughed during surface intervals as our heartfelt bonds crossed the distances of time and space. May the spirit of love that surpasses what we can comprehend continue to fill in the space you may feel, and the loving memories of all that has been shared continue to warm your heart & ease any sadness, for one day, we will all be reunited again on distant shores. Peace & Love my friends. Mahalo….. <3

  10. We first met on a cruise ship, can't remember which one. Kathy and I had over 200 dives but Keith who did not know us was watching us all the time to make sure we were safe in the water. When we got back on the ship, we met for drinks and shared dive stories. We've kept in contact ever since, mostly due to Wendy I believe, it's been over 20 years maintaining a long distance friendship from a meeting on a cruise ship. RIP

  11. I am so sorry I didn’t know sooner. 🙁 my heart breaks for you. Kieth was a wonderful man with a heart to so big you couldn’t help but love him.
