Keith Ross Griffin was born October 7, 1954, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Raised on Haverhill Road, he graduated from Twin Lakes High school in 1972. Two years later, at 20 years old, Keith joined the ranks of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. After nearly 30 years of service as a firefighter and paramedic, Lieutenant Griffin retired.
Keith had an adventurer’s soul. In the prime of his life, you might have seen him out fishing, air boating, kneeboarding, gigging frogs, riding horses, or hunting. If he was outdoors, he was enjoying life.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Keith passed peacefully at home on February 22, 2022 in High Springs, Florida, where he and Janie resided. He was 67 years old.
Keith is survived by his wife of 16 years, Janie; daughter, Chelsey; son, Clint; mother, Annette; sister, Lynnette (Lyn); brother, Mark (Christene); grandchildren; and beloved cat, Mollie Precious. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles.
A Celebration of Life for Keith is being planned and details will be announced on when they are finalized by the Family.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Griffin Family.

I worked with Lt. Griffin in the beginning of my career. He made an impact in my career. Lots of stories and all good. I was lucky to have a strong fire officer early in my career.
Known Keith since Elementary school and through out the many years here and there… We were safety patrols and went to Washington DC trip together(picture of him running toward me somewhere)…. Such a wonderful man and my heart breaks that he’s left this world so soon…. RIP my dear sweet friend… until we all meet again I know you’ll soar with the Angels ❤️
Keith and I attended the same schools together in our younger years. The school memories will last forever. Both of us graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1972. But many of our memories come from Golfview Jr. High as we had classes together. We challenged each other with drafting projects in class. Keith was one of those friends that you just had fun with. I hope that we see each other in Heaven one day and remain friends forever even in eternity.
