Kimberly Lynn “Kimi” Gauger, 50, of LaCrosse, Florida, passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on February 16, 1976, Kimi was a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose kindness and steady presence touched everyone who knew her.
Kimi spent her adult life working as a cleaner for several restoration companies as well as private residents. She took great pride in her work and was known for her reliability, dedication, and the care she put into every home she entered. Beyond her work, she was deeply devoted to her family, and nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Kimi is survived by her parents, Stephen and Sandy Hedges; her son Kevin Lee Truett, his wife Stephanie, and daughter Payton; her son Charles Stephen Truett, his partner Chelsea, and daughter Aubrey; her sisters Theresa & fiancé Brandon , Lori (and Glenn); her brother Keith & wife Wanda; her former husband Richard B. Jump; her former partner Kevin Truett Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit forward.
A celebration of Kimi’s life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
Her family will forever remember her gentle heart, her loyalty, and the love she gave so freely.
