Kristye JoAnn Cook, Ocala, Florida, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away January 2, 2017 at her home at the age of 47. Krystye is survived by her parents Glen and Nancy Cook and Darlene and Creig Williams.
Kristye was a 1987 graduate of Kokomo High School. In 1989 she earned her Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from Phoenix College. She continued her education in 2010 she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana Tech.
In addition to becoming a successful professional, Kristye loved to read, garden, cook, watch movies, travel and had a passion for art. Above all, her love for her family superseded any hobbies that she had. The special bond that she had with her nieces and nephews are forever embedded in our memories and hearts. She adored spending time with each of them, showering them with her kindness and unselfish love.
Kristye is loving remembered by her siblings, Willie (Terri) Cook, Tracy Shelton, Lorena (David) Cote, Kimi (Michael) Baker, and Kenny (Joyce) Stafford. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

I worked with Kristye at Verizon for many many years in the same order entry group. My heart is heavy to hear of her passing. I know I and many others will miss her greatly and are very saddened to hear about this. I hope you find peace to know that she was very loved by her Verizon family.
