Lilla Patsy Tiner left this world on July 19, 2018, surrounded by family at the Haven Hospice Center, Gainesville Florida after a short illness. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Lou and Benjamin John (Boozie) Tiner, and brother Tim Tiner. Patsy worked for many years at the Alachua County School Board as Program Service Specialist for Title One until her retirement in 2012. When not working, Patsy enjoyed spending time gardening and cooking with Franchesca, a great granddaughter. Patsy’s chicken and dumplings, sausage biscuits and gravy, and salmon patties were a few of the favorites. She is survived by three children, Jeff Skinner (Janie), Pam Skinner, and Debbie McGovern (Ken), 8 Grandchildren Sarah B., Zach, Jacob, Ryan, Sarah, Noah, Garland, Lauren, and 14 great grandchildren, Franchesca, Brantlee, Madison, Hailey, Silas, Shiah, Lila, Kaleia, Bodhi, Grant, Gianna, Cayden, Ashton , and Penny and siblings Libby, Sandy (Ronald), Mike (Lynn), Ralph (Margaret), Terrell (Bonnie). She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed tremendously.

Patsy was one of a kind. Her qick wit and shenanigans will be missed by all she touched. She taught me at a young age the love of cooking. I will make sure that legacy is carried on thorough her great grand children. Keep them straight up there! You will be missed….
