Linda Ann Torcivia

February 11, 2026

Linda Ann Torcivia, 76, of Old Town, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026 at 10:38 p.m., leaving a void her family cannot fill.
Born in Brooklyn on July 5, 1949 to the late Dominik and Margaret (Lucente) Lucente, Linda graduated from Freeport High School in 1965. A devoted mother and proud matriarch, she often said that the births of her daughters changed her life for the better — a truth reflected in the unwavering love, support, and guidance she gave her family. Linda’s greatest accomplishment was always her family.
Kind, honest, and fiercely loyal, Linda will be remembered for her laughter, wisdom, and strong, independent spirit. A hot-blooded Italian with a generous, forgiving soul, she listened without judgment and taught those around her strength, pride, and resilience. She loved the ocean, orchids, gardening, and a bit of gambling, but her favorite role was being a grandmother. Linda cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was proud to be their Granny and G.G.
She is survived by her daughters Lynette Dunn, Doreen Tinley, and Christa Dunn; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on through her family and in the hearts of all who loved her.
We know she will be watching over us, cheering us on, & dancing in the wind!
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family. Condolences may be shared with the family online.
