Lisa Boyette

February 17, 2022

Lisa Boyette, 58, took God's hand on Thursday, February 17th. She had suffered from a rare form of Multiple Sclerosis. Lisa is survived by her husband, Kevin and son Dylan of Jacksonville Florida. Additionally, her brothers and their families;Kevin and Trisha Harshbarger,  Jessi, Kori, and JoeeDale and Melanie Harshbarger, Jordan and Cole Dave and Laurie Harshbarger, Kirby, Logan and Dalton In addition, she leaves her Parents In-law, Milton and Shirley Boyette. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Geraldine Harshbarger. Lisa was a true friend and mentor to everyone she met. First and foremost, she was a child of God. She wasn't afraid to tell you that, and she gave Him the credit for her abilities. She was actively involved in her church, and shared that ministry with many people. Through various businesses that she ran, she always strived to be your biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed a successful music career while growing up and living in the Northern Kentucky area. After moving to Florida in the late 1990's, she ran several successful Marketing businesses, coaching and building her team members businesses. She was also the director of ABC Bartending School in Jacksonville, where she impacted the lives of hundreds of her students training them in a new career path. During the past 5 years, she owned and operated A Class Act Bartender, where she served her clients at private and public events from weddings and corporate events, to small personal celebrations. When you met Lisa, you didn't forget her. She could be very direct and some would initially think that she was mad at them, but it didn't take long to learn that she was only pushing those around her to be better. She wouldn't abandon you. She was your friend forever. She thrived on taking pride in whatever task was presented to her. As her friend, you knew that she would stand solidly behind you. If you feel led to memorialize Lisa, the family asks that you consider contributions to one of the following: Church of The Traveling Steering Wheel www.cottsw.orgAnderson Assistance Foundation www.AndersonAssistance.org

  14. A neighborly friend gone to soon is a tragedy. But what would have been worse is never to have met Lisa. I am grateful to have been her friend. Lisa was a lot of things to many people, never lost for words, and will be missed tremendously. May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with the Harshbarger, Boyette and all who knew her during this difficult time. RIP "Lisa"

  15. I met Lisa while she was bartending an event. I started school at ABC shortly after. She was my motivator and I’m grateful I was able to meet her. Condolences to her family and close friends.

  16. Rest in peace, you beautiful angel. I'll never forget first stepping into bartending class and feeling this immediate click with you. Listening to gospel on the way to bartending events. Or our shots of Grand Marnier. You were the first person to give me a chance in a bar setting and you never failed to come to my jobs and order the most random drinks just to test me. I'll never forget the kindness in your heart, the incredible wisdom you shared with me sitting in front of the water while we had a smoke, or that infectious smile. You have your wings now babe. I love you and I will always remember you.
