Louise P. Lee

Louise P. Lee, age 92, was peacefully called home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 13, 1930 in Baldwin, FL to Frank and Ventress Peterson.

Louise married her one true love, the late Amos T. Lee, in November 1947.

After marrying at the young age of 17, Louise became a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother. She spent her years caring for her husband, raising her children, and embracing her role as ‘Nanny’ to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After Amos retired, he and Louise loved to spend their time at the lake, camping, and working at their little farm. Louise loved life and all who shared it with her, including her pets that she adored.

Louise is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 62 years, Amos T. Lee, parents Frank and Ventress Peterson, 5 brothers, 5 sisters, and 1 granddaughter, Debbie Lyn Carter. Louise is survived by 3 children; Jackie Carter (Douglas), Mike Lee (Becky), and Susan McIntyre (Tom), 8 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life service. Please contact the Family or Keystone Heights Presbyterian Church for date and time.
