Marcia Hill Nejbauer

August 20, 1939 ~ December 3, 2024

Marcia Hill Nejbauer was 85 years old.  Marcia passed away peacefully at her home in Newberry, Florida on December 3, 2024.  Marcia was born on August 20, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was married to the love of her life, Richard H. Nejbauer and raised and educated five children as well as fostering several others.

Marcia graduated from cosmetology school and did hair in the kitchen for friends and family. She later became a day care school teacher and found this incredibly rewarding. Marcia‘s love language was cooking and baking. Marcia was always making a meal or baking goodies for someone going through a difficult time. Marcia taught Sunday school, was a Relief Society president and held several positions in the church.  Marcia believed in showing God‘s love through random acts of kindness. Marcia enjoyed crocheting and embroidering in her free time. Marcia loved animals especially Gypsy Rose.

Marcia is survived by her children: Kimberly Boomhower and Frank Scheuring, Richard and Irma Nejbauer, David Nejbauer, Tammy and Kerry Brock, Jessica Nejbauer; her grandchildren: Ashley and Billy Jones, Marcia Nejbauer, Jen Brock and Anthony Brock; her great grandchildren: Eli Wilson, Gracie Wilson, Kloe Jones, Cody Brock and Mark Brock; her sister Burdette Schaefer.

Marcia is preceded in death by her parents Elwin and Grace Hill, her brother Elwin “Ken”Hill and her daughter-in-law Lydia Nejbauer.

A private memorial will be held for Immediate family.  In lieu of flowers do something kind for someone: make a meal, give a ride, help decorate a tree.  Marcia will be deeply missed by anyone who knew her for her generosity, wisdom, kindness, and incredible listening skills as well as teaching her children to be comfortable, confident people in our own skin.
