Margaret (Margie) Rose Engeron Kirby passed away suddenly on Saturday December 11, 2021 at the age of 69. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert Roy Kirby. Her son Robert (Rob) Ross Kirby and granddaughters Karyssa Alexis Kirby and Addison Rose Kirby. They were the pride and joy of her life. Loving stepmother of Lisa Kirby Berne (Eric), Christopher Kirby and David Kirby (Laura) and step grandmother of Cooper Berne, Caleb Kirby and Cole Kirby. Cherished sister and sister-in law of of Barbara E. Boegel and husband Bill, Joan E. Gaudet and husband Sidney, and Shirley S. Engeron.
She was preceded in death by her dearest parents Ivey Joseph Engeron and Ethel Bernard Engeron and her brother Daniel J. Engeron. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Margie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in Gainesville, Florida for the past 36 years. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Charity Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years before becoming a full- time homemaker and mother.
