Margaret Savoy

Margaret Catherine Savoy, 83, of Interlachen, FL passed away on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 peacefully in her sleep.

She was born on February 26th, 1940 in Pennsylvania, but grew up in Canton, Ohio. Margaret worked in accounting/business after graduating high school. Throughout her life, she lived in many different places with her children. In the 1980s, she moved to Florida and married her husband, Oliver Savoy, on February 14th, 1987.

Margaret settled down in Interlachen, Florida with her husband Oliver, and her daughter, Darlene. She enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as cooking, baking, gardening, and playing games.

Margaret is survived by 8 of her children: Darlene Savoy of Florida, Jody Johnson of Ohio, Daniel Johnson of Virginia, David Johnson of Florida, Toni Fisher of Florida, Kathy Stipe-Layton of California, Billy Stipe, and James Stipe Jr.; as well as 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and Samuel Showe; her husband, Oliver Savoy; as well as her sons, Douglas Johnson and Bobby Stipe.
