Marla Saunders

Marla Ann Saunders, 69, of Orange Lake, FL passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. She was born June 7, 1953, in Canton, IL to John and June (McMeen) Raudabaugh.
 
Marla graduated from Canton High School in 1971. After having her two daughters, Marla went to Spoon River College to earn her associates degree. She lived in Ipava, IL for many years before moving to Florida and marrying long time friend, Terry Saunders, on July 7, 2001, who survives.
 
Also surviving are Marla’s daughters, Heather Taylor (Kyle) and Jennifer Edwards (Max), her grandchildren, Christopher Haney and Breanna Hite, and her brother, David (Terri) Raudabaugh.
 
Marla enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and grandpuppies. She spent many summers camping at Anderson Lake with Terry, her grandchildren, and her daughters. They enjoyed fishing and have many fond memories. Marla also enjoyed spending time with her daughters and her best friend, Lin, shopping, crafting and decorating. She very much enjoyed giving to the ones she loved. In the winter, she spent time at her home in Florida, with her husband Terry, where they enjoyed playing card games with friends.
