"Blessed Are The Meek For They Shall Inherit The Earth"
After a life of servitude and sacrifice for others, the angels came to take my sweet mother Home on the morning of October 3rd, 2021 at 11:46 am. Especially since 2016 mama has been dealing with a myriad of health issues causing her to decline steadily; succumbing to sepsis in the end. Her long journey now rewarded by being enveloped in everlasting love, peace and happiness...all things which had eluded her at times in her life on this earth. But now, the Kingdom of Heaven is hers.
She is preceeded in death by her loving parents Ann Louise and Richard Peter Hussey and her beloved sister Martha Ann Baumann. She is survived and dearly missed by her daughter Christina Marie Bland, her brothers Richard Matthew, William Michael, John Kevin, Joseph Paul and Peter Eamon Hussey, sister-in laws, nieces, nephews ,cousins and a slew of extended family and friends. Our hearts are breaking because we love her so, but I know she would argue that she loves us more:)
There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I loved them all
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one who compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more,
In my life I love you more

Dearest Mary had a life like most of us , I went to your wedding , you daughter Christine was born a week before my son Mark. You always calm , never loud , and great big heart. . Even though we haven't
seen much each other in recent years , you have touched me, and now you are in heaven away from the pains of this world
Sending love to all in this difficult time.
I have many fond memories of growing up with Mary, as one of her little brothers. She was always there for me when I needed her, and she schooled me in the "proper" ways of being a teen ager, especially in tastes for music. I will miss her terribly. She was a great big sister to me. I could not ask for anything more. Love you Mary! Peace.
Chrissy your obituary was beautiful. I have so many wonderful memories of Mary Lou throughout my life. We were blessed to have her live behind us for many years. Your mom was a quiet person but she always made me laugh. Always there to help out and lend a hand to my parents and help out with us girls. She will be missed terribly. Sending our love and prayers to the family, and my arms stretched out to you. Hugs.
another Angel in Heaven looking over all of us
I have a lot of fond memories of Mary. Most importantly the way she looked after her mom. It takes a special kind of person to do that for as long as she did. Now they are both angels looking after us!❤️🙏🏻
Sending you love and prayers for comfort during this difficult time.
Mary was always so patient and loving. She always had time to listen and just be with the ones she loved. I will miss her calm and smile. Love and peace to you Mary…
Cousin Christina and family,
Your Kentucky cousins share in the grief over your loss and are sending you strength, love and light. May the grace that you showed be returned to you and may you continue to heal knowing that you are in our thoughts.
The Irish say "Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h'anam." May she rest at God's right hand. May you take peace in knowing that she is at rest.
