Mary Carolyn Bunton

Mary Carolyn Bunton, 75, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026. Known to her friends as Carolyn, she lived a life centered on love, family, and the simple joys that meant the most to her. She is lovingly survived by her children: Jinean (Doug), Tommy (Angie), and Kim; her brother, Ed and family; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her family was her greatest pride and deepest joy. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny and Robert, and her sister, Dorothy. Carolyn had a special love for the beach — the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun, and the peace it brought her. She also loved to cook and was especially known for her delicious country cooking. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and full plates, where family gathered and memories were made. Sharing meals was one of the many ways she showed her love. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the way she brought her family together. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
