Michael E. Kuzmovich

 

Age 69, of Gainesville, FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, was sadly taken away from his family and friends on September 23rd, 2017, with his wife Michelle of 45 years by his side. Beloved father of Fawn (Chris) Pignoli, Alyson Kuzmovich (Mike Akers). Grandfather of Hannah and Christopher Pignoli. Brother of Audrey Reinhart, Diana (Fred) Trachte, Raymond (Debbie) Kuzmovich, Janelle Bober and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Mike and Marge Kuzmovich. 

Michael was a Vietnam veteran and an English teacher for 32 years in Woodland Hills School District. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and loved his books, music, and rock posters.

On behalf of the Board of School Directors, administration, faculty, students and staff at the Woodland Hills School District, we wish to express our sincere condolences to the family of Mr Kuzmovich. He was an exceptional teacher and an extraordinary man. He left his stamp on generations of students and that will live on for many years to come. We are sad for the loss of a great teacher.

  8. Deepest sympathy to Mike’s family. I was a principal at the old Swissvale H.S. building — West Jr. High of Woodland Hills S.D. — where Mike began his English teaching career.
