I had the honor of meeting Mike and Michelle through Tessa. We have kept in touch on fb. I will miss her kindness and thoughtfulness. My sincere condolences to all of the family.
I had the pleasure of working with Michele at Lisle Junior High. Michele was a very special lady, and I am so lucky to have met her. I hold dear to my heart my memories of our time together. She will be missed by so many, especially her family. I take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with the love of her life, Mike. My sincere condolences to Michael, Melanie, and Miranda at this difficult time. Love to all, Nan Lemke
Michele and I worked together for several years at Lisle Junior High School. I always admired her for her compassion, intelligence, sense of humor, and loyalty. My classroom ran more efficiently because of Michele. She loved Mike so much, and now they are together once again. I will miss you, my dear friend. Love, Jan
My heart breaks for Michele’s family and friends. Both Michele and Mike were such lovely and kind friends despite their many trials. I will miss them both deeply.
It was a shock to hear of Michele’s passing. I worked beside her at Lisle Junior High School in the special education department. She was a loving, caring person to the students and staff. She was also a person that I am lucky to have called my friend. Kind, funny, caring, smart, interesting, open….she was all of these and more. I loved her as a sister. My condolences go out to you, her family.
You will truly be missed, Michelle
I want you to know how sad I feel for all of you on the unexpected loss of your mom. Michele and I had lunch together on April 28 and spent most of the day together. She was trying to make some sense out of her life once your dad passed away and it was so difficult for her. I truly feel that now she and your dad are up in heaven enjoying each other once again. Please accept my sincere condolences. All of us who had the pleasure of knowing your parents are feeling extremely sad. Love, Elaine
God’s blessings on you and your husband in Heaven. I know you tried so hard to move on and you were doing so well. We just don’t know what the Lord has planned for us. He needed you. My prayers are also for your family as they all adjust. I try to remember that the spirit is always with us. Love and prayers, Val.
So sorry for your loss. I graduated high school with Michelle. Her husband was my cousin, his dad and my dad were brothers. God Bless all of you and know that your mother was a good person and a great mother. She will sorely be missed!
I can second the fact that Michelle loved children and was happiest when she was talking about and spending time with them. She adored my new son Kai even though she’d yet to meet him in person. She always observed our posts on social media and made sure to congratulate us on our travels. She cheered us on from across the country, and it was always a pleasure to witness her vicarious joy. She will be missed greatly. I take solace however that she’s rejoined with my uncle Mike. Her spirit will forever be cherished in our family. RIP Michelle. Rod Ghilarducci
Condolences to the family. We were her neighbors in Bolingbrook, IL. I can remember how they both loved the pool in the backyard and the sun.
So sorry! She was a kind and sweet gal! God Bless you all!
Mike, Melanie, and Miranda, I heard with sadness about your mother’s passing recently and your father a few months ago. I have a lot of great memories of spending time at your house and of your mother and father. Spending the night, going to softball tournaments with you all, those were some good times. I miss those days and I will always remember your parents for being a big part of them. They were both great people. When I drive through our old neighborhood sometimes I still think about those days.
In addition to our daughter who passed on May 5,1989, I’ve now lost ALL of my birth family. Greatgrand, grandparents, parents, and both of my beloved sisters!!!! In addition our brotherinlaw Mike!!!! I’ll never forget any of you. We grew up knowing not only both sets of grandparents but our greatgrand mothers too. It makes sad that you have been robbed of that. I love you.
With wonderful memories of friendship that grew as co workers, I bid farewell. My prayer is for the Angels to place your hand in Mikes to enjoy eternity. Blessing to the family. She loved each of you.
Dear Family, I just learned of your loss. I am sending my deepest sympathy to all of you. Michele was one of my true friends growing up in Salamanca. I had the pleasure of spending time with her at our last High School reunion. Oh, the fun I had while visiting the Herling family. Mr. Herling was such a jokester and made kids feel so welcome. Florence so loved all of her children..I can still her voice talking with affection and pride about "my Michele". My thoughts and prayers go out to you today.
