Condolences to the Family. May she Rest In Peace. Praying 🙏 for Family and Friends 🙏
Your mother was a real servant for those hurting from heart break. She was a compassionate group leader and greeter for our Rebuilding class for many years. Hers was the first face many people saw. She was a wonderful personal friend and I could always count on her to go out to dinner with me after class. I will miss her so much she has left a big hole in our hearts. Much Love to your family and your beautiful child Hudson. ❤️Lee
Michelle was a wonderful person and I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray for your family and all the lives she touched.
Michelle was one of my friends that I called "girlie girl". Michelle embodied those characteristics that are symbolic of being a "real lady". Michelle and I officially met at our church, Trinity United Methodist, although we shared an inside story of meeting years prior at the FCU. Once connected at Trinity, we became "Thelma and Louise" and were always up for a good laugh and a good time. We shared many of these times together until the arrival of her beloved grandson, Huddie! At that point, it was all about Huddie, to which I was delighted for her. Many of us have hearts and minds that can barely grasp life without Michelle being here with us. However, as believers we know, we will see her again. At a time like this, I am reminded of the Morgan Freeeman line from the movie Shawshank Redemption, " I just miss my friend"'. Amber and family, I love you guys! Peace Be Unto You! Angela Davis
We had so much fun working together for so many years. Such great memories.
Michelle was one of the kindest co-workers I have ever had. Michelle was the manager at FCU when I started my career at FCU. I had the pleasure of working along side Michelle for many years. Everyone loved Michelle and I know her FCU employees and members will dearly miss her. Michelle – thank you for always believing in me, listening when I needed and ear, or just showing supoort. I am a better person having known you.
From the first time I met this wonderful woman, we were friends. She gave this shy young man the support he needed to shine. She was more than a manager, she was a friend. I love this picture because it is a glimpse of how fabulous she really was. You will be missed Michelle.
Amber,
I am your mother's youngest Collins cousin, Jeannie. Her father was my father's oldest brother. We lived near your mom's family when they moved to Pine Hills in the 70s. Though we fell out of touch when your parents married & I moved away for school, I was deeply saddened when I learned the news of Michelle's passing. I remember her as a young girl, an older cousin I enjoyed spending time with when we visited in MD & then when we gathered for family events in FL. I remember hearing from my mother the news of your birth, your parents' divorce & snippets in between. I understand you have a son now. Time flies. I am sorry that Michelle died so young. Sixty-one is much too early to lose a mother. Please accept my sympathy. I know this is a difficult time for you. I trust that you have good memories and kind friends & family to lean on at this time. With love & wishing you peace, Jeannie
Michelle and I go way back from junior high thru high school and many years after that. Although we had not been in touch in the recent years I will cherish the memories we had. Michelle was by BFF during those years and as we walked thru our lives and grew I will also hold a special place in my heart for what we shared during those years.
Amber, I remember when she told me she was pregnant with you and the joy she had in her heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you always and know you had the best mom ever. Michelle will be missed in our everyday lives here on earth but she will always be in our memories until we meet again and I am sure she will be shining down upon us with her grace.
Love you always Michelle
Linda
I love your Mom, she holds a place in my heart. We were friends from 1978. We were a trio, your Mom, Linda Q., and me. A different time from now for sure. I’m sure she is a great Mom. She always had my back, and I hers. We had fun. God Bless You and hold you till we meet again. Rest in Peace, Cristie❤️
