Nancy Ann McBride was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother & friend. Although she had her own children to raise she never turned a friend away making her a mom/sister & confidant to plenty. She was stern but a nurturer and gave love to anyone in need.Nancy passed away on August 14th, 2022 at the age of 62 after an unexpected but courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.She was born to George & Inez Layton in Kokomo Indiana on August 9,1960.After moving to Gainesville and graduating college and receiving her bachelor’s degree in business management. Her passion became over the road truck driving where she made a life time career out of seeing the world.She begin her journey as a mother and eventually her journey into marriage where she was blessed with more biological children as well as step children.She is proceeded in death by her father and mother George & Inez Layton, brother Donald Layton and Husband Charles L Mcbride, a brother in law as well as a sister in law.Survivors include: biological children Charles Strickland, Tameka Mcbride, Lyndon McBride Brandy Davis & Step children Rosalyn Washington, Cherrise young, Shaunda Mcbride, charles McBride & Michael McBride. 29 grandchildren and a grand pup as well as A loving partner who she found after the death of her husband, Rick Lattimer. And 2 brother-in-law’s & sister-in-law and a host of cousins, family & friends.Her legacy & love for life will live on through the numerous amount of people she was able to come in contact with over the span of her life.
