Neva "Deedee" O'Dell White, 65, of Cross City, Florida joined her father Felix E. O'Dell Jr, her brother Edmond F. O'Dell, and her oldest son Shiloh C. White in Heaven on the eve of October 6th, 2024.

"What a long, strange road it's been!"- Deedee White

From passing notes in school, to working at Kennedy Space Center, and all the American miles traveled in between and after... Deedee touched the lives and hearts of so many with her smile, laughter and free spirit!

Her love and respect for our country, our veterans, and our military helped her to write some of the most commanding writings and letters to our congress. She was a warrior in mind, spirit and body, and her fire will forever resonate in those of us who knew and loved her!

Deedee is now our beautiful and majestic eagle watching over us all. She will forever be our American Miles.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the White family.

  1. I am honored to have shared a few moments in life, thought and laughter with Deedee. Prayers for the family.

  2. Adam, Jamie, Riley and Orion, we're so sorry for your loss and remember DeeDee fondly. All our love and prayers of comfort to you. Love you.

  3. I am very sorry for your loss. I know she will live on in your hearts forever. I pray she is with her savior, Yeshua. I know she spent a lot of time reading her scriptures. May the Lord fill your hearts with many wonderful memories. And if you believe she is with the Lord, you can be reunited with her in eternity by obeying God and making a covenant with Him to make His son Lord of your life. May you find peace knowing she continues on with a better life. And her new adventure will be a happier one, where she will never stop smiling.
