Norma Ruth Neenan age 85, passed away unexpectedly at the North Florida hospital in Gainesville, Florida on February 9th 2024. She was surrounded by her immediately family. She was the daughter of the late Jerry and Helen Frystak.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, John “Terry” Neenan, son Russell English, Jr. and wife Mary of Joppa MD, daughter Deetta Duckett and husband Steve of Dundalk MD, son Patrick Neenan and wife Taisiya of Dunedin FL, daughter Michelle Miles and husband Lee of Seminole FL, son James “Jim” English and wife Melissa of St. Augustine FL, 11 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, her brother Jerry Frystak and her sisters Virginia Lanners and Doris Novack.
She was predeceased by her son Crawford “Spike” English.
Norma was very active; she loved her quilting and was very active with her quilting group in the Bell FL. area. She and husband loved to Hunt, she was very instrumental in the lives of thousands of young hunters by being a Florida State Hunter Safety instructor for over 37 years with her husband, and they have received several awards for their instruction technique and service.
She and her husband loved to go RV’ing and have a large group of camping friends whom they have traveled the US with. They also used their camper to visit with family and friends, both close to home and far across the country.
A celebration of life will be held on March 16th at Otter Springs Park. Please contact the family for details.

I have so many fond memories of Norma in my life. I cannot think back into my childhood without her and Terry in it! She was loved and will be missed.
