I moved out of Rainbow Springs in 2016 , but was friends with Norm for most of the 12 years I lived there. I liked his quirky sense of humor, and his low-key demeanor and sense of adventure . I did a lot of kayaking with Norm (he had a little navy of his own, as well as tennis, biking and range shooting. He was game for almost anything, although his attempt to fly off his back roof didn’t work out too well. I liked to tease him about his frugality, and diet – he ate more hard-boiled eggs than anyone I ever knew. Norm also tended to be a little secretive about his age. I don’t know why since we lived in a retirement community, and everyone was up there. I once asked him his age when he had to be 69, and he said "60’s." I enjoyed it all, and will miss him. Rest In peace Norm.
Norm will be missed by our family. He was a caring and giving man. He loved his family and he looked forward to visits by us all. He stayed active in tennis, biking, and kayaking as long as he could. We will commemorate your birthday, today and every 9/3, with family activites.
